my Passion
I'm Angelina Cecchini, an in-home positive reinforcement dog trainer with expertise in rescue animal behavior and behavior modification. With years of experience working in animal shelters, I've had the privilege of working with a wide range of dogs and cats, from fearful rescues to high-energy pups, and everything in between. My approach is rooted in positive reinforcement, science-based methods, and a deep understanding of canine behavior.
I hold multiple certifications, including Fear Free and Aggressive Dogs, which have equipped me with the knowledge and tools to address a variety of behavioral challenges, from anxiety and reactivity to basic manners and obedience. My goal is always to create a positive, supportive environment where dogs feel safe and motivated to learn, while helping owners build strong, trusting relationships with their adopted dogs.

My Inspiration
Meet Max. He is the shelter dog who propelled me to do what I do. His story is a sad, but unfortunately common one. He was adopted and then returned after resource guarding his food. The man who adopted him pinned Max to the ground to stop his growling and because of this he bit. After this incident, Max wasn't the same. He was less trusting. He needed help that he didn't get in the shelter. He was eventually euthanized. He was one of many who lost his life because of human stupidity. And he is the reason why I got all my certifications and teach people about positive dog training.
my experience
I started my animal career working at a dog daycare. After that I worked in multiple animal shelters, which is where my love and passion for working with dogs and training comes from. I am Fear-Free certified, Pet First Aid & CPR certified, and have certifications in Animal Behavior, Dog Training, and Aggression in Dogs. Dogs struggling with fear-based aggression is my specialty.
